Marissa Mehrer Class of 2014 | Kansas City High School Senior Photographer

My, oh my.. this senior is absolutely gorgeous! I'm pretty sure that I get the prettiest seniors there are. Can I also just say how much I LURRRRRRVE when people bring their animals to sessions?!?! I'm a humongo animal lover so it was inevitably warms my heart to see their furry friends! Miss Princess (Marissa's dog) was a little camera shy at first, but I managed to get the shots I wanted, of course. I always win mwahaha! Princess is a german shepherd/collie mix and she is SOOOOO ADORABLE! I wanted to secretly steal her and take her home with me.

This sweet lady goes to St. James High School and she was so much fun to get to know, as well as her lovely momma that came with her! She rocked every single pose I gave her.. even the ones that feel awkward but they're not after she looks at the camera (which she quickly realized after I showed her the back of my camera). All she kept saying after I showed her the images was "ahh I cannot wait to see them!!!" That's all I ever want anyone to say at a session. I love when they are all so dang excited to see them after they've seen the back of my camera. 

Another reason I show clients the back of my camera is to get them more comfortable being in front of the camera. As soon as they see how absolutely stunning they look in the pictures, they loosen up and think, wow, maybe I am photogenic! :) Works like a charm..every time. 

Now.... time to enjoy this awesome session!
